ULTIMATE CAMP COOKING
Sponsored by Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service, Trailer Life Directory and
the Good Sam Club.

Camping is one of America’s favorite past-times, a time to relax and let go of the stresses that life dishes out. Many people think of an excursion into the forest as “roughing it,” of leaving the comforts of civilization behind. While ditching the big screen TV back home is part of the camping experience, ULTIMATE CAMP COOKING leaves the hot dogs and freeze-dried pouches of powder behind as well in exchange for the choicest cuts of meat, the freshest vegetables and the most scrumptious fish. The good life, filled with mouth-wateringly delicious dishes prepared by the funniest chefs around!

Your hosts, Ultimate Camp Chefs and Comedians Pat Mac and Mike Faverman show you how to get the very best out of a Dutch oven, grill, foil wrap, and stove top cooking. And there's plenty of laughs along the way!

"Live Shark Encounter!”

For thousands of years, sharks have captured man’s imagination. Starting with the movie Jaws, sharks are never far from the thoughts of swimmers, surfers and boaters. But are they really the threat that they appear to be? Phillip Peters brings his Live Shark Encounter! to the Kansas Sports, Boat & Travel Show to offer Midwest residents a firsthand look at sharks, and an opportunity to learn more about the facts and the myths. After each show, you can tour the Great White Encounter, which details the life, habits and myths surrounding this legendary species.

"Reptiles Up Close and Personal"
David M. Nieves

Come see the “Reptiles Up Close and Personal” with David M. Nieves. Mr. Nieves has been captivated with reptiles since the age of eight. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of reptiles and continues to devote himself to herpetology. Mr. Nieves created Reptile Education and Research in 1990, a facility dedicated to the study of reptiles and amphibians from around the world. You won’t want to miss seeing Mr. Nieves display and handle 200 lbs of live reptiles during the show all the while sharing his love for these animals.

Bassmaster CastingKids Hosted
by Kansas Bass Masters

CastingKids challenge is to flip, pitch and cast a hookless lure to a bull’s-eye target. Mastering these three techniques will give any angler the skills they need to present any lure and catch bass. Scoring is based on a point system so the young angler with the most points wins!

Participants compete in local events conducted by an affiliated BASS Federation Nation club. Each local event has two winners, one in each age group (7-10 years of age and 11-14 years of age). The winners then proceed to their respective state finals. The CastingKids competitors who emerge as the top-performing competitor in his or her state will advance to one of the six Federation Nation divisionals.
